Literary Lane is the brainchild of Daisy, or rather, the brainchild of people far cleverer than Daisy, whom she copied because she thought it looked like great fun. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, or so I'm told.
Anyway.
Daisy is a second-year student of English Literature, a mother of seven humans, a lover of early modern history, photography, crafts, Dr. Who, and quite obviously one would hope, a lover of books. I'll talk here about books, fashion, journaling, and my life in Yorkshire. I might also touch on interesting/stressful facets of my degree because I like to imagine that those who love books as much as I do might also find interest in subjects even tangentially relating to them. Not that literature is usually tangential, but my degree can sometimes be that way! Oh, and I do tend to bang my drum in an activist sort of way, particularly where sex and class are concerned. Speaking of...
